Saudi Arabia’s Saudi-led coalition says it has intercepted six aerial threats, including drones, cruise missiles and a ballistic missile, amid escalating Iranian-backed Houthi attacks. The PIF Saudi International golf tournament has been postponed indefinitely following a deadly attack on Riyadh’s international airport. Pakistan strongly condemned the attacks and reaffirmed its support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and security.
The Pentagon has prepared plans for potential strikes on Iran’s energy infrastructure and nuclear facilities if President Donald Trump orders a resumption of military operations, CNN reported. Trump has also called for shooting those responsible for leaking information about US military operations, while predicting that the war with Iran will end “very soon” and oil prices will fall sharply afterward.
Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis have carried out 20 attacks targeting Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport in October, Saudi-led coalition spokesperson Turki al-Maliki said. Attacks on October 7 and 11 killed 17 people and injured 333 others. Saudi Arabia also accused Iran of arming and training the Houthis and said coalition forces had destroyed 127 Houthi storage facilities in Yemen.
Two cargo ships, the Singapore-flagged GFS Pride and the Antigua and Barbuda-flagged Cape Dao, have sunk near the Strait of Hormuz following separate projectile attacks. All 21 crew members aboard the GFS Pride were rescued, while one crew member was killed in the earlier attack on the Cape Dao, according to maritime authorities.

At least 20 Bangladeshi nationals have been killed in the Russia-Ukraine war after allegedly being lured to Russia with promises of construction jobs and forced into military service, Bangladeshi police said. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with an international human trafficking network.

The Houthis have warned civilians and workers to evacuate airports and oil facilities they consider military targets.
Iran has executed Ali-Sina Mostafavi over alleged links to Israel, involvement in armed attacks and support for monarchist opposition figure Reza Pahlavi, according to judiciary-affiliated news agency Mizan. Human rights groups continue to criticize Iran’s extensive use of the death penalty.
