Bannu Police in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has released a list of 40 wanted militants and announced total rewards of Rs158.5 million for information leading to their arrest. Police said the suspects are wanted in cases involving attacks on security forces, bombings, extortion, kidnapping, and targeted killings.
Four militants linked to the Commander Zahid Group were killed during a joint intelligence-based operation by Karak and Kohat police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Khattak Dam area. Police said the militants were wanted in several attacks targeting security personnel.

At least 10 police officers, including two SHOs, were killed in a deadly Taliban attack on a police checkpoint in Balochistan's Ziarat district. More than 20 officers were initially reported missing, while security forces later launched a clearance operation and the provincial government ordered an inquiry into the incident.
Pakistan’s military leadership, during a Corps Commanders’ Conference chaired by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, expressed concern over alleged use of Afghan territory by militant groups for attacks inside Pakistan and reiterated its commitment to continue counterterrorism operations under “Operation Ghazb-e-Haq.”
