Pakistan: Four Bodies Recovered from Different Areas of Lakki Marwat

PESHAWAR (Terror Monitor) — Four bodies have been recovered from different areas of Lakki Marwat district in Pakistan’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, triggering fear and panic among local residents.
Police said they launched an investigation after the bodies were discovered. Two bodies were found near Kurram Bridge, while two others were found along the roadside on Manjiwala Road.
Police identified two of the bodies recovered near the Kurram Toll Plaza as Farooq and Qasim.
According to police sources, initial investigations indicate that all four victims were shot dead.
The incident has caused widespread fear in the area, while police have begun an investigation into the killings.
Police shifted all four bodies to a local hospital for legal formalities and post-mortem examinations. The identities of two of the victims have yet to be established.
Police have collected evidence from the crime scenes and launched efforts to identify the victims and trace those responsible for the killings.
