Pakistan’s military says security forces killed 15 suspected TTP militants attempting to infiltrate North Waziristan from Afghanistan. The 36-hour operation followed the detection of the group near the border, with weapons and ammunition recovered from the scene.
Four TTP militants, including suspected commander Tahir alias Muawiya, were killed in a CTD operation in Peshawar’s Budhni area. Police recovered SMGs, a pistol, grenade, ammunition and an Afghan identity document, while two officers were wounded in a separate attack on a police post.
