NATO Defense Firms Highlight Over $50 Billion in Deals at Ankara Forum

ANKARA (Terror Monitor) — Companies from NATO member states’ defense industries gathered this week at an industrial forum in Ankara, Türkiye, held alongside the Western military alliance’s annual summit.
During the forum, officials highlighted defense procurement and industrial cooperation agreements worth more than $50 billion, saying allied countries are moving forward with commitments to strengthen military capabilities and increase defense spending.
NATO officials said the agreements aim to enhance defense cooperation among member states, expand weapons production, and improve joint military preparedness.
The participating allies also emphasized the need for greater investment in the defense sector amid growing global security challenges.
