Pakistan: Four TTP-Linked Terrorists, Including Afghan National, Killed in Kurram Operation

PESHAWAR (Terror Monitor) — Security forces have killed four terrorists, including Afghan national Ubaidullah Saad, who was affiliated with the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), during an intelligence-based operation in Kurram district of Pakistan’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to security sources, the operation was carried out against terrorists on September 8, 2026. Ubaidullah Saad, described by the sources as an Afghan national affiliated with the TTP, was killed along with three of his associates.
Security sources identified the slain terrorist as Ubaidullah Saad, son of Ghulam Ghaus Salehi, and said he was originally from Shah Qala village in Afghanistan’s Logar province.
According to officials, Saad was affiliated with the banned TTP and had been involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
The security forces reiterated their resolve to continue operations against what they described as anti-state elements infiltrating Pakistan from Afghanistan.
Security officials said no compromise would be made on the country’s peace and security or the protection of the lives and property of its citizens.
