Ukraine Drone Strike Near Moscow Kills Five, Injures 10

MOSCOW (Terror Monitor) — At least five people were killed and 10 others injured in a fresh Ukrainian drone strike targeting an industrial area on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow, Russian regional authorities said on Tuesday.

According to reports from Moscow, the war that began with Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine has now entered its fifth year, with both sides intensifying missile and drone attacks in recent weeks.

Ukraine has increasingly launched long-range drone strikes deep inside Russian territory, targeting oil facilities, warehouses, and key economic infrastructure. Russia, in turn, has stepped up nationwide attacks across Ukraine, including strikes on the capital, Kyiv, using ballistic missiles and armed drones.

Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov said the latest attack occurred early Tuesday in the industrial area of Novoselki, where at least five people were killed and 10 others wounded.

In a post on Telegram, Vorobyov confirmed the casualties, describing the strike as one of the deadliest recent drone attacks near the Russian capital.

Meanwhile, Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko said a warehouse near Krasny Bor in northwestern Russia was also hit by Ukrainian drones, causing extensive damage and a large fire.

Russian officials said Ukrainian forces have carried out a series of drone attacks in recent days targeting warehouses operated by Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer, which has distribution centers across the country.
